Universal's The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS), Edition 2026, is an English medium bare act of India's new penal law, published by Universal (LexisNexis). The book is written in English; it is not the Hindi medium edition. It gives the full text of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (45 of 2023), with short notes. The BNS replaced the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and came into force on 1-7-2024, except for sub-section (2) of section 106.
