Universal's The Land Acquisition Act, 1894, Edition 2025, is an English medium bare act of the old land acquisition law of India, published by Universal (LexisNexis). The book is written in English; it is not the Hindi medium edition. It gives the full text of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (1 of 1894), with short notes. As noted on the cover, this Act has been repealed by the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
