This is a Hindi medium (हिन्दी माध्यम) book from Rakesh Yadav Readers Publication Pvt. Ltd. by Yash Rawat (GS Expert) — Samanya Adhyayan (सामान्य अध्ययन), a first edition containing 6500+ objective MCQs arranged chapterwise and typewise, graded from basic to advanced level and based on the new pattern. It covers Static GK, Itihas, Rajvyavastha, Bhugol, Arthvyavastha, Vigyan evam Praudyogiki and Samsamayiki. The entire book is written in Hindi in the Devanagari script. General Studies behaves differently from every other section of a competitive paper, and the difference dictates how it should be prepared. Maths and reasoning reward method; a candidate who understands an approach can handle a question never seen before. GS rewards nothing but having encountered the fact. There is no working out, no derivation, no partial credit — the answer arrives in two seconds or not at all. What follows is that exposure, not comprehension, is the variable that moves the score, and exposure is measured in questions. Six and a half thousand of them, sorted chapterwise and typewise and graded from basic upward, is a structure designed for that. The chapter arrangement puts confusable facts side by side where their distinctions register; the type arrangement shows how the same fact is asked in different framings; the difficulty grading lets a candidate establish the base before reaching for the questions that separate the top of the merit list. Attempting an equivalent number of questions in random order produces effort without accumulation. The book is prepared for SSC CGL (Tier-1 and 2), CHSL (Tier-1 and 2), CPO, MTS, Steno, GD, JE, Railway, Defence (NDA, CDS, AFCAT), PCS, Delhi Police, State Police and other one-day competitive examinations — a range that works because the static core is largely shared across all of them.
